Walk in the Park

Hello all
This week has flown by. I am amazed that I have already taught for almost three weeks.
This past Friday we took the Kindy kids for a fieldtrip to a poool. It was a really neat experiance. I only had to watch four kids with another teacher so it was pretty easy. The place that we went to had three different pools. Each one was a different depth. The kids got there and had to wait half an hour before going in the water because it was not open yet but they were more patient then us teachers. The rules for all outdoor pools are similar. You must stretch lightly before going in, shower and have a break every half an hour for ten minutes. In the pool you must also wear shower caps (we didn't have to because we never went more then waist deep). You are also not allowed to cough or sneeze in the pool because they want to keep them clean! It is quite and experience to try and keep track of your kids with water caps on their heads.
Tonight I went for a walk around this park. It was beautiful. I will put on pictures as soon as i remember to take a camera.
The next four weeks our school will be having summer intensive courses. That means that the kids we teach in the afternoons after their regular classes come during the day because they have holidays from regular school. Every week I will be teaching 10 extra classes so that will be really crazy.
I hope everybody is doing well wherever you are. Keep in touch!
